1. Measure your tote bag and size it in design space to fit the bag well.
2. While the Cricut us cutting the quote, preheat your EasyPress to the recommended settings.
3. Once it’s done being cut unload the mat and weed your quote.
4. Place the EasyPress Mat inside the tote and position the quote where you’d like it.
5. Heat the quote one area at a time with the EasyPress until it’s all adhered.
6. When the quote has cooled peel off the transfer sheet and enjoy your beautiful tote bag!

I love how this project turned out. It’s one of the more simple ones we’ve made but that just means it’s perfect for beginners as well as experienced crafters. I hope you enjoyed learning how to take a tote from drab to fab!

I can’t let go of any of them! That’s not stopping me from adding more though. My bff and I are headed on a trip together and I just thought it would be adorable if we made some DIY coordinating pajamas. These matching cut files are super cute! Now, let’s get started and I will show you how to create this fun DIY Matching Pajama Set – Cricut Gift Idea!

1. Measure the shorts and see how big you need to make your designs in design space.
2. Once they’re sized let the Cricut do the work! We used white vinyl for the quotes and pink for the eggs and bacon decals.
3. Once everything’s been cut, remove the mat and weed all of your designs.
4. Preheat your EasyPress and lay one pair of your shorts onto the EasyPress Mat.
5. Place both the quote and egg or bacon decal where you want them to go on the shorts. Remove the egg or bacon, and heat the quote.
6. Peel off the transfer sheet from the quote, lay down the egg or bacon decal, and lay the transfer sheet back onto the quote. Heat until adhered.
7. Remove both transfer sheets and repeat the process on your other pair of shorts.

I love the way it turned out! This is a fantastic teen craft, DIY fashion project, or homemade gift idea. I used my favorite black glitter Iron-On for this Cricut project and, of course, a cut file from Makers Gonna Learn.

1. Measure your sweatshirt and size the cut file in design space to fit well onto your sweatshirt.
2. Once you’ve sized it let the Cricut do the work and cut your designs.
3. Once everything’s cut unload your Cricut, weed the designs, and Preheat the EasyPress.
4. Lay the sweatshirt onto your EasyPress Mat and position the design where you want them to go. Since this is a multi-layered project you’ll have to heat the different colors separately.
5. Heat the black iron on then remove the transfer sheet. Position the foil Iron-On where you want it, reapply the transfer sheet over the black Iron-On, and heat until adhered.
6. Remove both transfer sheets and enjoy your great sweatshirt!

1. Size and cut the quote out with your die cutting machine.
2. Preheat your EasyPress at 340 degrees then weed your quote once your machine is finished cutting.
3. Lay the bag on the EasyPress Mat and place your quote where you want it to go.
4. Heat the bag for 30 seconds and once it’s cooled completely peel off the transfer paper.

I love how this turned out. It’s an adorable and cost friendly gift idea that you can make in no time. If you wanted to take it a step further you could even fill the bag with some of your mom’s favorite things like makeup or candy.

EASY CRICUT IRON-ON T-SHIRTS

My absolute favorite projects to make with my Cricut Maker are iron-on crafts. It’s just so versatile and you can use it on so many surfaces.

Sometimes, I love the challenge of making something elaborate and beyond what I’ve made in the past, but most of the time, I really do love to keep it simple. Crafts that take very little time to complete mean that even on my busiest days, I can still be creative.

We used silver glitter iron on for this shirt and I think it pops on the purple so well. Both of these shirts are so easy to make because they’re just one layer.

We found this great zipper pouch and wanted to take it to the next level by adding iron-on to it. We just cut it with the Cricut and used our beloved EasyPress to bond it right on the pouch, how easy is that?

More amazing gift ideas you can make with your Cricut!

I’m super excited to dive into a fun tutorial using the Cricut Rotary Blade. Many people may be intimidated by the Cricut Makers Adaptive Tool System, but it’s magical. The Rotary Blade is a super versatile tool perfect for crafters and sewists alike. Today I want to teach you all how to make DIY Tassel Earrings with your Cricut Maker and Rotary Blade. You only need a few supplies to make these, and you’ll have a blast along the way. Keep reading to learn how to make them yourself. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

Supplies:

• Cricut Maker With The Rotary Blade
• StrongGrip Cutting Mat
• Faux Leather Sheets
• Earring Fish Hooks
• Small Earring Eye Pins
• DAP Glue

Steps:

1. Go to Cricut Design Space and open up this Make It Now Project. I love working with Make It Now projects because the instructions are easy to follow but they’re still customizable. Size your earrings in Cricut Design Space and switch from the Deep Cut Blade to the Rotary Blade. With its precision cutting ability, it can turn within a quarter of an inch to achieve a cut that scissors never could.

2. Lay your piece of leather finished side down onto the top left corner of your StrongGrip cutting mat. Be sure to move the stars out of the way of the leather. Watch the Rotary Blade cut the leather beautifully.

3. When the Cricut Maker is finished cutting pull off your excess leather and reveal the bases of your earrings.

4. Assembling these earrings is so easy. Simply roll your leather as tight as you can and apply a dot of glue onto the end of the uncut side and hold until the glue has set.

5. Once the glue has set, add another drop of glue onto the top of your rolled earrings. Insert eye pins into the center of the earrings and allow the glue to fully dry. Then add your fish hooks and rock your beautiful tassel earrings.
