CRICUT EASYPRESS HACKS
I absolutely love my Cricut EasyPress! I use it nearly every day – it’s just such a handy and essential tool in my craft room. Each time I use it, I pick up more tips and tricks and am still working on mastering it. Are you wondering just what a Cricut EasyPress can do? Well then this is the post for you! These Cricut EasyPress Hacks are going to really be helpful for you.

- Hitting The Back of Your Project

This is a tip that lots of people tend to forget but it’s really important. Whenever you’re making a craft project with it (like a t-shirt, for example), you have to remember that you need to hit the back of it with your EasyPress too. Just make it a habit because you will find it makes a big difference with getting your iron-on to adhere properly. You’ll be really happy with the results!
- Not Just For Fabric

Most of you already know this, but the EasyPress can transfer onto a whole lot more than just fabric. It’s designed for cardstock, wood, silk, canvas, burlap, and more! When I say the possibilities are pretty much endless I mean it. The most important factor about the EasyPress that makes it so versatile is it’s temperature settings! That allows it to be able to transfer on such abroad range of mediums.
- Auto Shut-Off

Speaking of temperature settings, the EasyPress also has another fun trick. Picture this: You’ve been crafting with your Cricut and Easypress all day. You look down at your phone and time has gotten away from you! You’re late to pick the kids up from school so you toss those Cricut tools down, shut your laptop, and head on your way. Once you reach the school pick-up line you realize you forgot to turn your EasyPress off! No need to panic. Your super smart EasyPress has an auto shut-off feature that is triggered after ten minutes of inactivity. How cool is that?
- Cricut EasyPress Mat

I know what you’re thinking. You have your EasyPress but whats the point of buying a mat, when the old towel you were using is really doing the trick? That’s what I thought too until I got my mat. It truly does make a world of difference. That sucker has 5 layers that each serve a purpose specifically designed to make your EasyPress transfer even better. From insulation to moisture wicking technology, and a heat reflective layer. The Easypress Mat was created with you in mind. They not only have their 9″x9″ mat but now have an amazing 16″x20″ mat as well! Think of the possibilities.
- Temperature Settings At Your Disposal

I mentioned earlier how important the temperature settings on the EasyPress can be, and it’s so true. It’s so easy to set your EasyPress to 315 degrees and go about your day but you need to know for sure that what it’s set to is the optimal temperature for your project. The temperature settings come in the instruction manual with the EasyPress but I love to print off a few extra and keep them around my studio. I have one taped to the wall, sitting on my desk, one laying next to my EasyPress. I always want to be sure of my temperatures so my project can look it’s best.
