How should I care for shirts with HTV designs on them so they last as long as possible?
It's best to wait at least 24 hours after applying your design before washing it. Do not dry clean. Turn the garment inside out before washing. Wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Hang to dry or use a low heat setting on your dryer. Don't use bleach. Do not iron directly over the vinyl. -
How should I care for vinyl designs on mugs, tumblers, and glasses that have not been sealed?
Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe. Do not soak. Do not microwave. If you're making these to sell or give as gifts, we have cut file tags that you can include with these care instructions on them: https://makersgonnalearn.com/cut_files/wine-glass-care-instructions/ https://makersgonnalearn.com/cut_files/tumbler-care-instuctions/ https://makersgonnalearn.com/cut_files/mug-care-instructions/ -

Do I need to seal my Infusible Ink projects?
No. That's one of the great things about Infusible Ink. It will never crack, peel, or flake. Because of the way it bonds to the surface, it really is permanent. -
Do I need to seal my vinyl projects?
For the most part, this is a personal choice. Unsealed vinyl on mugs and cars can last months or even years. It also depends on the products you use and where and how you are going to be using the item. Better quality vinyl will last longer. We don't recommend sealing vinyl on clear items like glasses or mirrored items because there is no sealant that remains truly clear and invisible. There is no need to seal t-shirts and other fabric items - the exception to this is if you are making something like a garden flag and you want it to stand up to the elements better.
