HOW TO CLEAN AND RE-STICK YOUR CRICUT CUTTING MATS

Hi everyone! When it comes to our Cricut die cutting machine, we get asked one particular question ALL THE TIME. Since so many of you are wanting to know, we decided that it was about time we provide you with an answer!

That question is: How do you clean and re-stick your Cricut Cutting Mats?

Let me begin by saying that Cricut doesn’t recommend cleaning your mats. It’s important to remember that before you take our advice here. That being said, we use this technique all the time and have never had a problem.

Cleaning your mats will help you save a little money and get a longer life out of your mats before having to replace them.

Let me give a shout-out here to Deanna from Stitches Quilting for introducing me to LA’s Totally Awesome All-Purpose Cleaner and giving me this fantastic tip! Follow along with our tutorial to learn How To Clean And Re-Stick Your Cricut Cutting Mats.

While we do work with Cricut directly on some of our videos, This  video is not sponsored or endorsed by Cricut.

You can use this tutorial to clean your:

There you have it! Your mats are all clean. As for my personal experience, it works well with the Fabric Grip and the Light Grip/ Standard Grip Mats, but for the Strong Grip, it doesn’t do the job perfectly.

If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to clean your mats this is the perfect solution! Hope you learned something new today and have enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did.
